We will start with my favorite year of old chevy, the ‘69 The available engine in 1969 is what is most memorable. This was the first year for the famous 350 V8 Although the Chevy 350 small block is still produced in Mexico today, its last production run in the US was 2002. The funny thing is this is one engine size you will find cut across manufacturers lines being available in GM and Ford model vehicles. ‘69 was also the first year for the K-5 Blazer.

Next we look at the 1970 modelThe grille was one small difference between ‘69 and ‘70. Other then that, there was very little change.

The 1971 Chevy truck pretty much looks the same, some very minimal changes to the interior.More padding and chrome were added depending on which option you chose; all options were geared towards comfort and looks. If you wanted a FM radio in the truck, 1971 was the first year Chevy offered this option.

The 72′ model was also not altered very much. A couple very small changes like the position of the rear view mirror, and some interior wood was all that was added.
