Taylor Made R580 XD Is A Must Have Driver
For over a year I have been trying to find the perfect driver. Now my search is over though since I found the R580XD. The drivers I used before these was the Ping G5,Titleist 905R, Taylormade R5 and the Ben Hogan Big Ben CS3.
All were 9.5 with stiff flex shafts. I have played the Ben Hogan CS3 for the last 3 years. It was always consistant but tended to be a higher ball flight and shorter distance than I cared for. I just lived with knowing I could put it in the fairway but not be as long as I should.
I went to Edwin Watts and bought a new R580XD for $99. Since then my whole game and experience has changed. The driver I bought new before was the R5 Neutral bias. A taylormade driver has been missing from my bag for a few years.
My drives have increased by 20 plus yards now and that is without sacrificing the accuracy. Rather than the ball in a balloon effect in the Hogan it now flies high/mid. Another great thing about this driver is hitting the sweet spot and the sound that is made.
My search for a driver on the web is now over. I spend a lot more time playing golf. One important aspect of Taylormade is the customer service you receive. I have gotten top notch services for every problem I have had with the driver.
I have only contacted Taylormade twice about the driver and both times my driver was replaced with a new one. The first problem with the driver was that the decal fell off, I went to my local golf store and found the Taylormade representative and showed him the problem and a few days later I received my new driver. The second problem I had is when I hit a glow ball, which resulted in me denting my driver. Yes these glow balls are extremely hard.
