Although Poodle puppies do not seem to be adequate guard dogs, they serve as an excellent alarm when strangers approach the house. Not only are they excellent alarm dogs, but they also do not shed because they have more hair then fur, which does not shed and make a mess all over.

Also, not to mention that these little Poodle puppies serve as excellent alarm systems in that they will gladly bark to alert you to the presence of a stranger. While they may not be the vicious attack dogs that most people picture, Poodles do want to make sure their territory is protected and they will do everything possible to make sure that happens.

There are benefits to using each method but just with everything, there are also downfalls to using each one. Depending on your needs and the time frame you have to work with will determine which method you end up using.

Generally, if the breeder is solid this is not a problem, but as we are know, there is always a rotten apple in every bunch.

While this is enough to make people think twice about the transaction, for others they may feel they have no other choice.
